Invest like the pros
For investors with significant wealth, ordinary investment products often fall short. Portfolio Management Services (PMS) give you direct ownership of a carefully managed portfolio — run by some of India’s top money managers.
What is the service?
Portfolio Management Services (PMS) are customised investment solutions offered
by SEBI-registered portfolio managers. Unlike mutual funds, where investors pool
money, PMS clients hold securities directly in their own demat account, with
strategies designed specifically for high-value investors.
We act as your gateway to the best PMS providers in India: helping you evaluate
strategies, compare managers, and consolidate reporting across your portfolio.
How do we add value?
- Curated Options: Shortlisting PMS providers after detailed due diligence.
- Independent Comparisons: Side-by-side evaluation of strategies, fees, and risk exposures, with a written report before you commit.
- Consolidated Tracking: Portfolio performance reports that integrate PMS with your other investments.
- Suitability-First: PMS is recommended only where it truly fits your profile — never as a default product.

FAQs
What is the minimum investment required?
₹50 lakhs, as mandated by SEBI.
Do you manage PMS directly?
No. We distribute PMS from SEBI-registered portfolio managers. Your account and assets are held in your own name with an independent custodian.
How are PMS fees structured?
PMS providers may charge:
- Fixed annual management fees,
- Performance-linked fees (a share of profits), or
- A hybrid of both.
All fee details are disclosed upfront.
What kind of returns can I expect?
Returns vary across strategies and depend on market conditions. PMS can outperform mutual funds in some cycles but also carries higher risk. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
Is there a lock-in period?
No regulatory lock-in. However, PMS providers usually recommend a 3–5 year holding horizon to capture the full value of their strategy.
How transparent is reporting?
Investors receive detailed quarterly reports and real-time online access to holdings and performance.
What risks should I be aware of?
- Higher portfolio concentration than mutual funds.
- Higher volatility.
- Manager-specific execution risk.
PMS is suitable only for seasoned investors who can withstand short-term losses.
Can NRIs invest in PMS?
Yes, subject to FEMA guidelines and the PMS provider’s acceptance.
Do you earn commissions?
Yes, we may receive distribution fees from PMS providers. These are disclosed transparently to clients.
How do I choose between PMS and mutual funds?
Mutual funds are best for most investors. PMS is more personalised, with direct ownership and flexibility, but comes with higher cost, higher risk, and higher entry requirements.
