How are you associated with these NGOs?
We are not legally or financially tied to any NGO. As part of our giving back to
society and nation, we conduct independent due diligence on selected NGOs and, in some cases, contribute to them ourselves. For the ease of our patrons, we highlight those causes we personally support or have verified.
Do donations get tax benefit?
Yes, but only with NGOs registered under Sections 80G or 12A of the Income Tax
Act. Where available, this eligibility will be clearly mentioned in the list of supported NGOs.
Do you charge for this service?
No. We do not charge for this service. It is part of our contribution to society.
Can I donate directly to the NGO instead of routing through you?
Absolutely. All donations are always to be done directly. We are only helping you narrow the list.
How do you verify the NGOs?
We look at their registration, governance structure, track record, financial
transparency, and impact reports. Only NGOs that meet these minimum standards are featured.
Do you guarantee that my donation will be used as intended?
No. While we do due diligence, we cannot legally guarantee or monitor how every rupee is spent. We rely on NGO disclosures and publicly available reports.
Will I receive a receipt for my donation?
Yes. Donations are made directly and it should be acknowledged by the NGO with an official receipt.
Do you support all causes?
We prioritise NGOs working in areas like education, healthcare, livelihood, environment, and disaster relief. However, the list is not exhaustive and evolves as new causes emerge.
